In those days SSLC would be used as proof of Age! Number of people scoring above 75% were very few. Now the pass percentage is very high and number of children scoring very high marks has resulted in getting admission to good Colleges very difficult.
IITs have already de-recognised Board marks(XII)!
Board exams have only ruined the Social life of Parents and the formative lives of our Children!
Kudos to Kapil(sibal) & his Team. They should still go ahead and think out of the box to remove all board exams now!
The National identity project will take care of need to have a proof of Age in the form of a board certificate!
